At My Claim Solved we are always growing, due to our expansive growth we currently have a variety of roles to fill.

We are looking for experienced staff located in the South Devon area to join our claims and administration departments as well as motivated, money hungry sales people!

We are ideally looking for people with experience in financial claims handling, specifically with products such as Payment Protection Insurance, Packaged Accounts, Endowments, Investments and FSAVC/Pensions but full training will be provided. We are also looking for junior level data entry and claim submissions team members.


  • Location: Torquay or Exeter
  • Salary: £7.50 p/h OTE exceeding £30,000
  • 38 hours per week
  • Monday - Thursday: 11am to 8pm
  • Friday: 11am to 6pm

As a Sales Executive, you'll be at the forefront of our operations, speaking to inbound leads (we don't cold call!), qualifying them and turning them into clients, you will receive full industry and product training and benefit from the years of experience we have to help you assist our clients.

This is not a role for everyone, you must be a confident, outgoing and friendly individual. A brilliant telephone manner is also essential due to the nature of this role.

Working hours are 38 per week, Monday to Thursday 11am - 8pm, Friday 11am - 6pm, with overtime and weekends available for the determined people who want to give a bit more to get a bit more.

Sales Executives will earn £7.50 per hour basic salary. They also have the potential to earn an unlimited amount of commission with an OTE exceeding £30,000 for the right person. Our biggest commission payout this year was £4,125 in a single month!

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Take and retain ownership of 200 + complaints through to satisfactory completion within company timeframes
  • Review rejected complaints and analyse reasons to escalate them to the Financial Ombudsman
  • Respond to requests from the Financial Ombudsman in a timely manner, including completion of questionnaires and complaint forms with clients
  • Ensure customers are kept updated at all times, which will include written and verbal communications
  • Ensure investment complaints are handled in line with our regulatory guidelines
  • Maintaining up-to-date client records and data , including input of data onto the companies CRM system, filing paperwork and other clients documents
  • Adhere to company and regulatory data protection policies
  • Provide first line customer service to clients and third party's
  • Contribute to the overall team performance quality and productivity goals whilst achieving agreed individual objectives
Experience and Skills:
  • Complaint handling experience, preferably with mis-sold Investment and Insurance Products
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Claims Management Regulator, Financial Conduct Authority and the Financial Ombudsman
  • Ability to effectively self-manage workload, with proven track record in meeting deadlines and productivity / quality targets
  • Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy, ability to complete all required training and demonstrate on-going competency at agreed standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Competent in the use of office IT systems, including email, word processing, spread sheets, as well as customer databases

You will preferably have previous experience within a new claims role, experience within the claims management industry would be advantageous, and also experience in an office/administration environment is essential. Knowledge and experience of using computers, specifically Microsoft software and email is essential. A good outgoing telephone manner is essential as this role is customer facing.

You will be required to maintain your own portfolio of around 200 client’s claims and ensure they are completed within the necessary timeframes, you will be required to work in a close-knit team and therefore good communication and the ability to work closely with colleagues is essential.
